Hi,
First of all, thanks for the nice piece of software. Looks very promising
I run SavvyCAN on ubuntu 16.04 with socketCAN. I like to share some of my observations with you
1- when connected to a (CANOPEN) device, I receive the heartbeat (ID 0x717), the Length is OK (1), but the databyte is corrupt (random). When I check at the same time with wireshark, the data is OK.
2- Send frames > Custom: when putting the ID = 0x00, the ID that is put on the bus is 0x01 (check with wireshark)
Is there something I do wrong?

Those both sound like bugs in SavvyCAN to me. I'll look into them when I get a moment.
