UDS support for j1939 was created by jasonsosnowski
First off I am loving this app and the constant improvements, with that said I have recently discovered a bug. While in the UDS scanner if you try to enter any extended (J1939) id range to scan say with tester present or ECU reset it appears to be working but no data is actually TX by SavvyCAN. The UDS window gives feedback as if SavvyCAN were putting data on the wire but with candump open or even having another piece of hardware connected you can see savvyCAN is not actually transmitting anything.

Simple way to verify this is bringing up a virtual can interface
ip link add dev vcan0 type vcan
ip link set vcan0 up

Then configuring UDS with some extended IDs
starting ID: 0x12345678
ending ID: 0x12345690

Then hit some scan types such as: Tester Present; ECU reset

Listen for traffic with 'candump vcan0'

Last start scan and you will see no traffic reported by candump or for that matter the main SavvYCAN window either (UDS window will show traffic for some reason...)

It is fixed (commit 80674a0 to WIP) and will be found in the next binary release whenever that is. In the meantime it is in WIP if you want to compile it yourself
