Correct drivers needed for M2RET Board to use with SavvyCAN was created by reckert
I installed the M2RET on my macchina m2, and after restarting the M2, Windows recognizes there is a USB Device, but doesn't detect it as a serial device - which device driver do I need to use to make it work? I am trying to reverse engineer the HUD on my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix to allow an Android Head Unit to send notifications to the HUD.

Windows is rather irritating as it has no driver for the built-in USB on the SAM3X processor while OSX and LINUX do. Anyway, the easiest approach is to go to www.arduino.cc and install the IDE from the website:
www.arduino.cc/download_handler.php?f=/a...no-1.8.9-windows.exe
That will install the drivers for you.

Somehow Windows was fixated on the driver for that one USB port, when I moved the M2 to a different hub, it recognized as a serial port.
